The new gallery @CSG in Burbank is proud to debut their newest show “The Collectors Corner” this month. On loan from private collectors the show includes original artwork created by such legendary powerhouses as James Montgomery Flagg, Al Hirschfeld, Mary Blair, John Gannam, Dean Cornwell, Vance Gerry, Jean Giraud “Moebius”, Cliff Sterrett, Willard Mullin, Rowland Wilson, Heinrich Kley and Oliver Hurst to name a few of the over 30 works of never before seen artwork. All artwork is on loan from The Goldberg Collection and the private collections of Stuart Ng, John Musker, Raul Garcia and other industry professionals who have contributed anonymously.
Top illustrators during the golden age of illustration were as famous as any celebrity today, and their styles were as recognizable. The lives of Thomas Nast, Charles Gibson, Penfield, Leyendecker, Rockwell and more were chronicled in the New York papers with blurbs like “Mr. Flagg was seen this evening dining at Café des Artists in the company of an unknown woman” … or “Mr. Norman Rockwell has agreed to be a judge at the Miss America pageant this year in Atlantic City.”
At Center Stage Gallery the Creative Talent Network is carrying on the tradition by putting the talent center stage. CTN is proud to present “The Collectors Corner”. A rotating show of private collections filled with inspiration and a must see for any artist or collector.
Included in the show is a beautiful new shipment of books from Stuart Ng Books. So ditch your desk and stop by for some real inspirational fuel.
