Join us for “Ellie Day” Sunday May 24th 1:00pm -4:00pm at Center Stage Gallery 847 Hollywood Way Burbank CA. Ellie is an elephant with a gentle heart and an artistic soul who wants to save her beloved zoo home. Designed, written and created by Pixar animator Mike Wu. In an intimate gallery setting Mike will discuss his inspirations for the book and screen the ‘making of Ellie’ trailer, and discuss his career. Gain insider information from the Cal Arts graduate who went on to contribute to such films as Monsters University, Brave, Up, Ratatouille, Cars, The Incredibles at Pixar and Home on the Range, Atlantis, Tarzan, Mulan and Hercules at Walt Disney Animation.

About the Author:
Mike Wu is an animator at Pixar, where he has worked on The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up, and Toy Story 3, among other movies. He has a BFA in Character Animation from the California Institute of the Arts, and he is the creator of “Ellie: The Zoo is Closing” and a children’s clothing and gift line Tiny Teru.
