Andrea Blasich has spent the last 20 years working in the film industry. He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan with a master in scenography and started to work for a few years at different theaters in Milan. After that he began a carreer in feature animation which brought him to London, Munich and eventually to the U.S.A. He worked as a sculptor for DreamWorks SKG His range broadened tremendously as he worked as a sculptor for video games as well as feature animation including such studios as DreamWorks, Bluesky Studio, Pixar, Warner Bros, Sony, Cinderbitter, Tonko House and Lucas Film.
Andrea is also working on his personal sculptures and bronzes. His work has appeared in exhibitions at Pixar Animation Studio, Cartoon Museum in San Francisco, Nucleus Gallery in Los Angeles and the Socitey of Illustartors in New York.
Two of his bronze sculptures, the Swimming Tiger and Dancing Bull, were selected as a finalists at the National Sculptures Society 80th & 82nd Annual Awards Exibition at the Tampa Museum of Art, FL (2013) and Brookgreen Gardens, SC. (2015).
